Schedules
Different limits at different times — work hours, bedtime, weekends. Set once, switched automatically.
Schedules
One rule for the whole day is blunt. Schedules give different hours different rules.
How schedules work
A schedule is a set of blocking rules with a time window: which apps, which hours, which days. When the window starts, AppLimit switches to those rules automatically. When it ends, they lift. Set it once — there is nothing to remember each day.
Three schedules that cover most lives
- Work hours — feeds and short-video apps blocked 9 to 5 on weekdays. Lunch is yours.
- Bedtime — everything distracting off an hour before sleep, every night.
- Weekend ease — lighter rules, or none. Rest is the point of the weekend.
Start with one. Add more when the first feels invisible.
Editing a schedule
The schedule editor shows every schedule with its apps and windows. Change times, swap apps in and out, add exceptions for the things you need. Up to ten schedules can live side by side — most people need three.
Schedules and the trial
Schedules you already made stay visible after the trial ends. Creating new schedules or changing existing ones needs the one-time unlock. Stopping an active block never needs anything.
