Data & Privacy

Your measurements stay on your device. No account, no analytics, no ads, no servers — and the only network traffic is the App Store purchase and your own backups.

Data & privacy

ConstructionPal knows your measurements and nothing else. There is no account to create, no analytics watching, no advertising SDK, and no TLC Designs server that could receive your data even if we wanted it to.

What stays on your device

  • Every dimension you enter, every answer, every project subtotal, every history entry.
  • Your settings: smallest fraction, primary format, result unit.
  • Your trial start date and purchase state (also verified with Apple at restore time).

What leaves your device

  • App Store purchase traffic when you buy or restore the unlock — handled by Apple, governed by Apple's privacy policy.
  • Feedback you send us through Feedback — only what you type, plus the app version and device info the form collects to help us answer. Never your projects or measurements.
  • iCloud device backup, if you have it on — Apple's backup of your whole phone, under your control, like every other app.
  • Nothing else. No analytics events, no crash-reporting SDK, no ad identifiers.

Diagnostics

The optional diagnostics report in Settings describes how the app is working (build, device, OS, error counts) so support can help faster. It deliberately excludes project names, dimensions, results, and history. You choose to send it, and you see what's in it first.

Delete everything

Settings offers delete-all-data: one action clears every project, history entry, and preference the app holds. When it's gone, it's gone — there is no server copy to linger.

The shared promise

ConstructionPal follows the TLC Designs Privacy Policy: your data is yours and stays on your device unless you decide otherwise.
