Projects & History

Named project subtotals that accumulate across calculations, and a full history you can revisit, export, or clear — all on your device.

Projects & history

A job is never one calculation. Projects give every calculation a home: name the job once, and each answer joins its running subtotal until the job is done.

Project subtotals

  • Name it: "Garcia deck", "Elm St. kitchen", "Shop cabinets" — whatever matches the truck whiteboard.
  • Accumulate: each calculation you file to the project joins its running total.
  • Stay local: projects, subtotals, and history live on your device. There is no sync, no account, no cloud copy unless your own device backup makes one.
  • Survive everything: projects, history, preferences, trial state, and purchase survive relaunch, reboot, and app updates.

History

Every calculation is kept in order and can be revisited — check what Tuesday's stair numbers actually were, re-display an old answer in a different unit, or export the record for the estimate file. Clearing is explicit: delete single entries or use delete-all-data in Settings for a clean slate.

After the trial

Projects and history are never held hostage. After the 14-day trial ends, everything stays visible, exportable, and deletable. Only starting a new calculation asks for the one-time unlock. See Purchase & unlock.

Storage visibility

Settings shows how much space the app's data uses, so a five-year history never becomes a mystery gigabyte. See Troubleshooting.
